Flow carpets
The series of Flow carpets are based on my Flow series of acrylic paintings on canvas. I started the Flow series back in 1994, where they formed the genetic base for the Sculpture City project. Since then I have been producing Flow paintings in various formats. In 2015 I initiated the production of a series of hand tufted carpets, the first edition is the black [with a touch of dark brown] and white [with a touch of sand colour] made by the skilled Belgian artisan Vera Vermeersch. Besides the hand tufted first edition I will develop a machine tufted series of colourful Flow carpets, first to be shown at the Dubai Design Days 2016.
