Archipelago series of hand-tufted carpets | made in Qatar
The Archipelago series of hand-tufted carpets are a manipulation of one of my earliest intuitive paintings. I restricted the number of colors, placed them in separate layers and slightly shifted one layer as to create the explicit contour lines.
