Polynuclear series
Expanding on my earlier Polynuclear sketches for the Polynuclear Landscape project [1998] I used the same procedure for a series of multi-layered painting named the Polynuclear series [2015] based on the explicit character of my Polynuclear gestures. Polynuclear refers to the trajectory that one sketch movement takes from one nucleus / knot to the other, up to 4 or 5 nuclei for each intuitive Polynuclear sketch.
