Patterns series | made in Fire Station Studio A | Doha, Qatar
The Pattern series represent a new dimension in my work. I ordered traditional patterns rolls from Germany, typically used for rolling out decorative patterns on the walls of the homes. Instead of the acrylic markers that I used in earlier paintings I traced my intuitive gestures to the canvas using the pattern rollers. I applied the gestures in many layers as to achieve the multi-dimensionality of my paintings, as to provoke another universe.
