In summer 2015 I formed a multi-disciplinary collective – with architect Kas Oosterhuis and programmer-designers Ana Maria Anton and Serban Bodea – to do something completely new and exciting: we imagined to feed a large industrial robot with my powerlines genes, negotiated by an algorithm featuring fractal geometry. The result of this first iteration executed at the RDM Campus in Rotterdam surpassed our expectations, which made us decide to develop the robotic painting project further. We launched the Machining Emotion website and are determined to produce a series of new robotic painting projects. The second iteration we did in Dubai during the Dubai Design Week [DXBDW] end from 26 – 31 October 2015.  A third iteration is planned for Art Abu Dhabi in September 2016.
